Your First Scan

Follow a practical workflow to add a target, verify control, choose scan types, and launch your first AYAsec scan.

A guided walkthrough: add a target, run a scan, and read the result. By the end you'll have a baseline for one domain.

1. Add a target

From Assets Discovery → Assets , choose Add Asset and enter the domain you want to monitor. You can also enter a new domain directly from the Quick Scan dialog.

2. Pick a scan type

Open the target and choose TLS, HTTP, Ports, DNS, or Credibility. For a guided default, use Quick Scan ; use Advanced Scan for individual scan types and options. Start Discovery separately from Assets Discovery when you want to enumerate the wider attack surface before scanning hosts.

3. Run the scan

The scan detail view streams progress live. Most scans finish in well under a minute; Discovery and an Extended-profile HTTP scan take longer since they cover a much larger surface.

4. Read the summary

The report opens in Brief view: score, grade, and findings grouped by severity, worst first. Switch to Full view for every section, including informational findings and the raw technical detail (open ports, DNS records, cipher suites, and so on). Click any finding to expand its detail and remediation guidance - or just ask AYA, the assistant docked to the report, what to fix first.
